Can I have the drought back from last year? Sump pump failed earlier this year and our water softener flooded our basement. Then the great flood of 013 struck and overheated our sump pumps causing a new round of flooding.
Tonight? A bug or bugs have been boring their way through my basement wall and managed to create a channel for water. A little water in the basement later and I think...
I know I asked for thankful Tuesday posts instead of truthful Tuesday stuff. And I’m touched by the fact that there were a handful that appeared on my dash. Thank you all for doing that. It was fun to see what you’re all thankful for in your lives.

Dear Internet folks, if you got a FaceTime request from me today..it wasn’t me. My daughter grabbed my iPad and started randomly calling people. Clearly, it wasn’t me calling people..I don’t do that kind if thing.
I’ve gotta stop exercising. The wife just told me that I’m no longer comfy to cuddle up with while we watch hockey after the kids go to bed. Apparently, I’m not as squishy or comfy. I can fix that.

finding Marie.. she’s the best thing to ever happen to me. She gets my quirks.. she listens to my crazy ramblings. she supports me in all of my bizarre endeavors.. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her.

Know what would be better than a pile of truthful tuesday posts? If instead folks wrote up a thankful tuesday bullet list.. mostly non-snarky bullets. If enough of them showed up on the dash, it’d be like a big group hug. Just a thought..

A few days of chatting with a customer via webex this week..leading to a long weekend away with the wife. The upside? A weekend without responsibilities and fun. The downside? Have to be at the airport by 530 on Friday. At least we aren’t driving.
